Promoting my Book
What next? It took me a couple of years to touch on every emotion that came with the unexpected death of my beloved niece, and weave them into the children story that I have just released. "Daddy, Please Don't Cry" is not a regular book. It is a collection of sorrowful emotions that were weaved together with the colorful threads of hope and love.
It took around 6 months to find the illustrator and get all the illustrations for the book. I then found the perfect printer/publisher, which is miraculously connected with Amazon.com. Now, I am taking a deep breath as I wait to see my book sell on Amazon.com, as well as on my own estore with Createspace at https://www.createspace.com/3398860. My book is excellent for children because it deals with death in a fairy tale like story. Everyone who read it thought that it will be a great help and entertainment for children, yet, children don't have access to it, and neither do parents, who do not know about the book. Now, what next? how do I promote the book? How do I bring it to the people instead of waiting for the people to come across it? I want to help all those children out there who quietly and sorrowfully watch their loved ones, be it a grandparent, a parent, a sibling or a friend die and disappear forever. I want them to learn about God's promise and I want them to learn about morality. Children need moral education that teaches not through abstract ethical concepts but through that which seems tangibly right... A child can find that kind of lesson in this fairy tale, which I prefer to call an Angel Tale.
Is anyone interested in helping me in promoting my book??? does anyone have ideas as to how to get it in the hands of those who need it??
Thank you and God bless all of you.
