Promoting my Book

What next? It took me a couple of years to touch on every emotion that came with the unexpected death of my beloved niece, and weave them into the children story that I have just released. "Daddy, Please Don't Cry" is not a regular book. It is a collection of sorrowful emotions that were weaved together with the colorful threads of hope and love.

It took around 6 months to find the illustrator and get all the illustrations for the book. I then found the perfect printer/publisher, which is miraculously connected with Amazon.com. Now, I am taking a deep breath as I wait to see my book sell on Amazon.com, as well as on my own estore with Createspace at https://www.createspace.com/3398860. My book is excellent for children because it deals with death in a fairy tale like story. Everyone who read it thought that it will be a great help and entertainment for children, yet, children don't have access to it, and neither do parents, who do not know about the book. Now, what next? how do I promote the book? How do I bring it to the people instead of waiting for the people to come across it? I want to help all those children out there who quietly and sorrowfully watch their loved ones, be it a grandparent, a parent, a sibling or a friend die and disappear forever. I want them to learn about God's promise and I want them to learn about morality. Children need moral education that teaches not through abstract ethical concepts but through that which seems tangibly right... A child can find that kind of lesson in this fairy tale, which I prefer to call an Angel Tale.

Is anyone interested in helping me in promoting my book??? does anyone have ideas as to how to get it in the hands of those who need it??

Thank you and God bless all of you.

  1. Some book reviews from Amazon.com:

"This book deals with a real life tragedy that happens to so many people every single day. It describes the anguish from a father's point of view that has just lost his daughter, and how he decides to turn the pain into something positive. This story is a real one which also makes the reader feel a connection to other parents that have faced such a loss. The illustrations are really nice and the colors are vibrant and bright. I recommend this book to anyone looking to console a child or loved one about life and death." (Natty)

"This book has played a strong role in our healing process especially for our 13 year old son who lost his cousin whom he was very attached to. She passed away only 2 days before his birthday and it was a devasting experience for him. I highly recommend this book to all ages because it brings a reassuring comfort and hope for our eternal life while letting us know that our separation from our loved ones who went home before us is only temporary and even though we miss them so much, they are really happy in the hands of God in heaven." Patrick Diegan

"A beautiful children's story which can help adults as well as children handle the grievious loss of a loved one. Faith-based acceptance of the knowledge, fhat the loved one now resides in the warm embrace of our creator, can be a powerful healing medicine. Sweet memories of the loved one, is the gift that the departed leaves behind for the rest of us to savor and cherish and for which we must be eternally grateful." Eruch
